Communication specialist: there's 3 pathways, do I get total control over which one I do?
Communication specialist has 3 pathways: information services, networking and infrastructure. I am only interested in the infrastructure side and would not enjoy the other 2. Is it guaranteed that I will get on my chosen pathway. Thankyou.

This is something that can be discussed with your Lead recruiter or local Careers Office.
Ultimately if you don't like the role that you are eligible for there wouldn't be an obligation to commit to the minimum 4 years service. On joining, our overall mission is to ensure you are happy, as this could enable you to wish to stay committed for longer should you wish. Which of course is a win/win scenario for all. If you are happy, the Army is happy.
