Do paratroopers Receive extra pay after basic training or will a para be stuck on the 25,200 (plus 6% each year)

Good morning
Parachute trained soldiers serving in an allocated parachute position within 16 Air Assault Brigade Combat Team will receive additional recruitment and retention pay of about £5-£6 per day. I cannot be specific as the recent pay increase may have adjusted that and I have not yet seen it. This extra pay is subject to the soldier being in date and current with their Jumps.
It’s worth noting that we as an army do not get a 6% pay increase every year. Your pay does increase as you have served longer time in rank but it is not at as high a rate a as 6% a year
