Hello,
We do not currently have a date for when the Commonwealth application window will reopen. The only information we can confirm is that Commonwealth applications will remain closed until at least April 2027.  We are unable to provide any further information, guidance or predictions regarding future recruitment dates at this time. Should any changes be made, they will be announced through official Army recruitment channels.
Thank you

Have a question of your own?

How often do you see your friends and family from home?

I like the idea of being in the Army but I don't want to kill people, is there a job where this is possible?

What is the food like in the Army?

What do deployments abroad include? Like what happens and whats the day to day life of soldiers like on deployment?
