Hi Erin how much would I pay for accommodation during training and after training and what about the meals etc?

Jeff this depends on if you are in Single living accommodation or if you will be joined by family following initial training. Assuming you are single and joining as a soldier not officer.... it works on a 4 grade system 4 being lowest and 1 highest for initial pay phase daily rate is between £1.01 & £2.48 daily with a £0.92 utilities charge, rising slightly following initial training. Accommodation charges are taken from monthly salary. During Phase 1 training you will pay a daily food charge but following this most sites are now pay as you dine meaning you pay for what you eat at time of purchase.
