How accepting are the army of LGBTQIA individuals

I want to join the RAC and from what I've heard from friends and people in the army they tend to be quite agressive to (for lack of a better term), "the gays" and from your experiances as a solider I'd like to know your experiances and views.

    Thanks for your question 😊

We understand why this might be something you’re concerned about when thinking about joining. LGBTQ+ soldiers serve openly across every corps and regiment in the British Army, and everyone should be treated with dignity and respect.

Your sexuality or gender identity doesn’t restrict the roles you can do or your opportunities to progress.

You can hear directly from LGBTQ+ soldiers about their experiences and find out more about support in the Army here: https://jobs.army.mod.uk/regular-army/inclusion-values/lgbt/
