I love being in the Infantry, I have been doing it for the last 21 years and if it was that bad, I would have moved on and found a different job somewhere else.
Before I joined the Army, I had never been on a plane and I had never had a holiday overseas. After training, my first posting was to Cyprus for 2 1/2 years.
I had done things in this job that I thought I would never do in my life and I have loved every minute of it.
