I'd say the army has served my incredibly well - I wouldn't still be in it if didn't!

To name just a few things off the top of my head, the army has:

• Given me a subsidised house for my family, wherever I have moved to, and given me financial support whenever I have had to move.
• Given me a fully funded masters degree.
• Allowed me to travel to lots of other countries.
• Qualified me as a mountain bike and kayaking instructor.
• Given me leadership skills and qualifications.
• Allowed me to take a career break to go on honeymoon for 10 months.

So overall, I have to say the army has been a great employer and the opportunities and support for soldiers is only getting better, so I look forward to the next stage.
