If in a Foot Guard Regiment, as an Officer specifically. How is time split between ceremonial duties and infantry role?

Hi there,
When not on ceremonial duties a Guards Officer is responsible for maintaining troops’ morale, welfare and career development. They will be busy managing their platoon, planning training activities, writing reports, deploying on exercise/operations or they could be away on a career course.
