    Hi Bailey.

In terms of the 7 career streams (Combat, Engineering, HR and Finance, Intelligence Comms and IT, Medical, Logistics and Support and Music) no. You would be operating within the 'Engineering' space. However, a large part of the Engineering we conduct is made up of 'Combat Engineering'. Combat Engineering refers to the tasks carried out by Royal Engineers that include; Demolitions, Bridging, Minefield Laying and Clearing, Water Supply (treatment of water), Watermanship (operation on water i.e. rafts and boats), General Engineering techniques (Knots, lashings etc).

Hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions or want any more information.

    Warm Regards,

    SSgt Rob Needham
