I want to join as light cavelry crew but eventually transfer to reme and get a strong trade before I leave

Thank you for your question. Transfers within the army are possible but are effected by a number of things such as, your qualifications, rank, time left to serve and available places within the capbadge you would like to join. As such, it would be impossible to say how likely it would be for you to transfer much further on in your career.
I would always recommend picking a role that you would feel happy in for your entire career (no matter how long) and then you can consider other options once you are serving. There are lots of ways to get more qualifications, you don't necessarily have to transfer.
