Are you able to request deployment or tell your CO that it's something you're keen to do? I am especially interested in humanitarian efforts but deployment and travel in general are what drew me to the army

Yes! Nurses are deployed very regularly, particularly if you have experience working in primary care or complete your primary care spec course.
