The policy on this has only changed within the last few years, as far as I am aware one woman so far has completed the P company course to become a paratrooper so yes, it is possible, women are allowed to join as paratroopers, however they must meet the same standards as everyone else, it is an extremely tough course but as proven it's not impossible to do.
