Can anyone join the regiment or do you need to be based in wales/ bordering places?

Anyone can join,There are 3 light cavalry regiments. You can put your preferences forward, but the Army may opt to change that if one regiment it low on workforce. This is Army wide, not just Light Cav.I don't think that is the case now, but something to consider.

Okay that’s perfectly fine, I’ll do some more research, I’ve got to lose some weight before I can even apply due to high BMI, but thank you for the information it’s something to look into
