network engineer role will this be both combat and technical focused. Will I be able to go on peacekeeping operation ect

Hi there
As a network engineer your primary role will be maintaining communications networks. This means that while you can be expected to fight ( as all soldiers are in case of emergency) you will not be directly in combat. That is the role of the Armoured Corps and Infantry. In terms of operational opportunities, the modern army has to communicate so wherever we go we need Signallers. You will be sent where the army needs you but you could also apply to fill jobs on peacekeeping etc if you were eligeable.
