Hi, the army is always recruiting and if you're completing a Masters then you have passed the age cut off for joining as a Junior Entry soldier so you're not late for joining the army whether it be as a soldier or officer. If you provide me with a little more detail i can go into some more detail. Kind regards.
Thanks for the response. Please, so I am Ghanaian and I won full scholarship given by the EU to study in the UK and other EU countries. Currently am studying Masters in tourism and will be completing next year September, however, my two year UK student visa will expire after two months of completion, and the army recruitment process takes a while if am right. Meanwhile I am soo much interested to join this army, this is my dream. Please, how can I handle this situation. Thank you
Hi, i'm afraid i don't know the full answer to this. The Army takes commonwealth applicants which you don't require UK residency for. But you do need to ensure you have permission to be in the UK (which you currently do) but it must be valid for the entirety of the recruitment and selection process up until the point you are enlisted. If you applied now you have plenty of time and there is no reason you wouldn't get through the entire selection and recruitment process. It takes on average about 8mths. I hope this helps.
Brilliant, well answered. Thank you very much.
