Savannah F. asked a question to Jordon W.

Hiya, just curious - I'm currently in Uni studying adult nursing. If I manage to pass but then sign up to be a CMT, would I have to do medical training again?

Short answer is yes. there are many differences between being a CMT and a nurse. They may be able to fast track you for some of the training so you would not need to do the medical however there are still other elements such as environmental health stores management and care under fire which is not usually do at nursing level. If not already done so and you are currently studying it may be worth waiting until qualified and the applying as a nurse within the Army the job does vary from the normal nursing side of life and you may find it more enjoyable. As well as starting at the rank of corporal.
