Hello Josh,
For clarity, you'll be applying for a role in the British Army as a Soldier with a trade, that trade will fall under an Engineering role and will be aligned to an apprenticeship. You'll start your apprenticeship during your Initial Trade Training and will complete it shortly after being posted to your first unit.
Your apprenticeship will be accredited by a civilian institute (for example, mine was through City & Guilds), so it will be recognised by employers outside the Army.
