What did you find to be the most challenging part of becoming an official member of the British Army, and how did you overcome those challenges during training and early service?

    As daunting as i know it is making those initial steps in the Army. Quite simply, just listen to your training staff. They have a wealth of knowledge and will tell you the exact expectation every step of the way.

     

    Prior to me joining, i was unfit, unmotivated, lacking confidence and academically challenged at the easiest of tasks. 

     

    Fast forward and i'm very fit, highly motivated, ooze confidence and considerably sharper in mind. Thats not a unique experience. Everyone gains these attributes, just listen to what you are being instructed, do it to the best of your ability and everything will start to get better.
