Hello. There isn't a better choice and I'm if you asked a lot of different people which was better, you would get a lot of different answers. It really depends on what you want from a career in the forces and which option you think is better for you. Hi, I agree completely with Deegan. They are different roles and life is very different on ship than land. I used to work in an Armed FOrces Careers Office, that we shared with the Royal Navy (and RAF) so have had lots of chats like this. It will very much depend on the job role you're after and the type of life style. Within the Army we do have the chance to work with the Royal Marines within Army Commando units (ie Engineers, Artillery) all have Cdo units so you would have to do the All Arms Commando Course at Lympstone (where the Royal Marines do their training).
