Jessica M. asked a question to James S.
Hi and thanks for your question ๐
There's no denying that basic training is challenging, but the programme is designed to build your fitness and resilience gradually, helping to reduce the risk of injury.
There is a minimum fitness requirement to join the Army, and each role has its own standard. You can find the requirements for your chosen role on the Army Jobs website.
Anything you do beyond the minimum before joining is entirely up to you, but it can help prepare you for training and set you up for success in your Army career.
