    Hi Lee,

As a Biomedical Scientist, you will complete your basic training as a soldier first and then start studying for a BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science at the Royal College of Defence Medicine in Birmingham and Aston University. From there you will then join a regiment and be employed across the Army Medical Services role. You will have the opportunity to progress your studies to Masters level as you progress through your career.

Thank you so much for the reply josh,
I already have my BSC degree in BMS, so would that mean... I would first complete my basic soldier training, followed by completing a portfolio (HCPC) and then join a regiment?
    regards,
    Lee

    I see Lee, my apologies!

As long as it is a degree recognised in the UK you would only need to complete basic training and one or two other extras to cover the differences between a military and civilian role. You would then join a regiment after that.

Whilst we do train our own we absolutely welcome those already qualified!
